What RustPilot manages

Practical server operations without turning the panel into a cloud platform.

First-run setup

Choose an install directory, validate paths server-side, install SteamCMD, and download Rust Dedicated Server through Valve.

Live console

Follow RustPilot, SteamCMD, and server output from a local web panel with a console built for long-running output.

WebRCON tools

Manage announcements, player refresh, kick, ban, unban, save-world actions, and guided owner/moderator entries.

Backups and wipes

Create manual backups, schedule automatic backups, restore safely, and plan official Rust force wipes separately from custom wipes.

CFG editor

Edit Rust server cfg files from the panel, including common vanilla files such as server.cfg, users.cfg, and bans.cfg.

Local safety

Binds to localhost by default, keeps runtime data local, redacts RCON passwords, and avoids redistributing Rust server binaries.

How it works

Unzip, start, configure, manage.

The Windows portable release includes the RustPilot launcher, bundled Node runtime, production backend, static web panel, and runtime dependencies. Rust server files are downloaded during setup through SteamCMD.

Download the latest Windows ZIP release.
  2. 2
Extract it to a normal folder, for example C:\RustPilot.
  3. 3
Start RustPilot.exe and keep the console window open.
  4. 4
    Complete setup at http://127.0.0.1:40815.

Current release

Alpha preview for local testing and early adopters.

RustPilot is already usable for local testing, but it is still an alpha project. Do not use it for unattended production hosting yet.
